shings 0 Posted January 27, 2007 As title. Will it fit in- my car already has Mi16 engine fitted to it. Will the 1.9 box in my car fit it? Will my 45 webbers and manifold bolt straight onto the head? Lastly- is the sump baffled and will it fit on the Mi16 engine? Jake

No not at all- I am just thinking of ways of reducing the chances of me breaking it. A mate just broke a 206 gti and I have first refusal on anything usefull... like the engine complete with all ancilaries. Jake

I've got 2 spare Mi16 lumps at home now - just keep your eyes peeled at your local scrapyard and grab them when you can.... With my car wrecking history I thought a spare engine or two might be handy! Si
shings 0 Posted January 28, 2007 dont bother they are an arse to fit i stupidly bought a lump thinking id put it in a project car gearbox is a nightmare as is the cooling system setup in the end i just sold it on and spent the money on an s16 I dont know if you saw pics or details of my cossie- but basically it was "bomb proof" Karl told me to go and buy it- one of his customers cars- a guy who had spent thousands of pounds- T4, Ap's, Full engine, Big wing, blah blah blah. He said after- he thought the weak link would be the diff which we spoke about before- and that he wouldn't have told me to buy it if he didn't think it was "safe" being as Karl is one of my best mates and all that. Effectivly the same car as Budweis has on PF- but only 8k's worth lol She lasted 2 weeks. Jake
