Hi Folks, I got my windshield replaced by insurance company window fitters. I purchased new windshield gasket (ref. 812063) from French museum and get all rust cleaned prior fitting. It leaking like hell now! The window fitter company blaming rust for the leak but there us only very minor surface rust on inside lip and outside got completely sanded down, primed and repainted so I don't thing they are right. They will not tell me order number of the windshield so is there a possibility they fitted wrong window in? Can any of you take a similar picture of the seal and post it here so I have something to compare to? Any idea why this could happen? Any help is appreciated! PXL_20230703_202829246.mp4

Hello, I need some help with the 205 gearbox. What kind of seal does it use on the mounting face that goes against the engine? The gearbox oil is leaking pretty bad on my 205 after I replaced it some weeks ago... I took a look and it doesn't have any sign of damage, so I thing the only problem is the seal...

Anyone Used Spoox Rocker Gasket And Spark Plug Seals?
notamondayfan posted a topic in XU 16v Engine Maintenance and Performance Upgrades
Hello, I've got a small oil leak from the rocker cover, so will change the gasket. I was just wondering if anyone has used Spoox gaskets.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331075779327 ? Just seem a lot cheaper than others I've seen. And also have anyone used their spark plug seals.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181271614718 ? Thanks, Dean -
Oil Seals For Spark Plug Holes Available?
Jamie P posted a topic in XU 16v Engine Maintenance and Performance Upgrades
I'm running an Citreon Mi16 and recently started to get a misfire and have discovered oil in a couple of spark plug holes. I understand new seals need to be fitted to cure this, are these the same on all Mi16 engines? Also where can I source them? -
Hi all, I have performed a basic search and can't find this particular problem. I have deceloped a leak from my radiator recently. It is coming from one of the plastic blanking plugs but I am not sure if it the washer or plug itself. I have perfored a search and found out that the radiator uses a M22 x 1.5 blanking plug - in your opinion would it be better to: buy some tigerseal or could you suggest some kind of good quality sealant. Take the plug out, apply sealant liberally and plug it back up. Buy a new oe plug and washer from peugeot/motorfactors buy a plug and washer from a local hardware shop of the same size Also would it be necessary to replace with another plastic plug or could I use a metal one? Not sure if it would make a difference with the heat and water? Just for reference it is the M22 x 1.5 as seen in this picture (the right hand side one)...

Recently purchased a pair of second hand bottom outer window scrapers. Problem was they were about an inch too short. Now after searching the forum a found that this was a common problem but no solution. Now this may be a common fix but I will go ahead and explain how I got them to fit anyway.... I bunged them in the sink and poured over 2 or 3 kettles worth of boiling water. Left them for around 5-10 minutes. Removed them and popped them in a vice (using suitable vice protectors). At 5 equally spaced points along the scrapers gripped the scraper in the vice and pulled. I repeated the process along the 5 points. Checking it against the car there was a noticeable difference in length. Scrapers now fit perfectly. Worked for me. Let me know if it works for you. Cheers, Gav
