  1. hi guys as some of you may know im doing a restoration project. what im doing is deox c 'ing nuts, bolts etc. then wire wheeling the rest of muck off. as you can imagine there's lots of components i need to do, which is taking alot of my time up!, yet i want it to be the best finish possible. question is how much pre work is needed? im talking about about parts i need to be plated, painted, and powder coated. current parts include, rust, paint, thread lock compounds and parts that are allready plated gold. im interested in the procces to what it takes to do these processes. also nut and bolt plating is it zinc plating? can you have a more silver finish than the common gold? thanks matt.
