    quick one hopefully for someone! one of the brown plugs on my engine bay loom (which feeds into the hole next to the bonnet release cable) has a green wire broken on it. it was like this when removed from the car but i'm curious as to what it was/is car is a J plate 1.6 GTi.. it's a green wire, and it was broken right at the wire number so can't identify it's number. i've since soldered a bit of wire and terminal onto each end so it can be reconnected quickly if it's a problem. it was already broken though, and the car is believed to have ran fine as it already was just hoping someone can give me a clue as to what it is? i've got no haynes or anything to hand.. thanks in advance! million dollar photo: (it's the on with the heatshrink on which i'm querying, not the 2nd green one from the left)
