    Hi Guys, I am looking for some ideas on a temporary hood repair for my CTI, Its still on the original hood and is showing its age and letting water in, i can forgive her though she is 24 years old! I have just been using strips of black gaffa tape as a quick make shift repair, this has helped a lot. Although during the rain the tape starts to peel off. I was think of using strips of something like a puncture repair kit and using silicone to stick it down and keep it flexible. Has anyone done something silicone or is that idea just stupid? I know the hood has seen better days, but buying a new one at the minute is not an option, so just looking for a fix that i wont have to change every couple of days.
