Hi, I have removed the blower fan to clean it and put a couple drops of oil on it as it was squealing badly..it was also working porly, I think because the intake was full of dirt and leaves.
Now it seems to work fine, but there are two things that puzzle me: the first is, even when the right lever (fan speed) is on the minimum position, I can still hear it spinning. Is it normal? the car has 77k kms (at least this is the number I see on the dash) but I have noted that the motor brushes are very worn, and so are the copper bits on the rotor on which they make contact.
The second is that while the air output is good when the lever is on the "from outside" position, it is completely absent when the lever is in the "recirculation" position..again, maybe it's ok and I just have to realize this is a car from the 80s?
Thank you very much
