    Hey Guys. Ive been asked to remove a motor from an Xsara VTS. Ive done about 10 removals from Mi16/205 etc but never an Xsara. Are there any little things that I may come up against I need to know about. I only have one day to do it in and its also 300Ks ( 180miles ) away from my house so want to make sure I have all the tools and know how before I get there. What size is the Hub nuts. Same as a 1.9 205 gti? 35mm? Unlocking ECU, Position 2 on the IGN and then un plug it? Gearbox will be coming with it so no dramas about that being separated. Although I think I know how if need be. Remove pin etc? Any special wires/sensors I may need for it? ( its going into a 205 ) From my understanding... Crack hub nuts off. Jack car up. Drain fluids. Remove most of the front end to make removal easy. Undo exhaust, speedo, clutch cable, gear rods. Any piping that may be attached Undo and remove drive shafts Take weight with Hoist. Undo mounts Remove? Cam
