    Dimmer Switch Bypass

    Hello! Currently trying to get the 205 through an MOT and the last thing to tick off the list is the dash lights and side light icon, whilst tracing the wires and doing some searching on here I found that my car has a dimmer switch so I guess this is stopping my dash from illuminating and possibly side light icon too. So, as I don't have a dimmer switch how do I bypass it? I've tried testing and bridging which didn't do a lot but made me run out of spare fuses.
