  1. So... I bought what I thought was a good set of hoses off someone on the bay, checked his feedback and lots of positive feedback left so thought all would be good!! How wrong was I !!! I'd faffed around with different ideas, calipers, and eventually got back round to going for the gti6 calipers I'd originally bought the hoses for... Apparently a specific length for the gti6 calipers... I went to fit them, and did so, to find that they were nearly kinking when linked round the outside of the shocks!! Putting the hoses round the inside seemed to be the only way to not have them doubled back on themselves which was still far from ideal!! It turned out that the new hoses were only just as long as the standard 205gti hoses:: So I've been in contact with the seller... Having bought them in September last year it was too late to open a dispute through PayPal or eBay themselves else I would have happily done so, only have 6 months to do this apparently?? I sent quite a reasonable message to start with, having heard a few bad things about the seller since purchasing them. To my surprise I received a bit of a sh**ty response telling me it had been too long, my emails had clearly shown I had changed my mind a few times, and he was not happy to do anything for me!! Admittedly I replied with a bit of a similar mood and thanked him kindly for living up to the clear reputation he'd rightfully got himself through forums and such!! Due to his threats of libel action, I'll not name him on my post (as tempting as it is!!!) but if you wish to know who I'm talking about them PM me and I'll let you know!! Thought I'd post up about it due to the massive difference in size and his crap attitude to me when I pointed out the error...!! The correctly sized conversion pipes should be a lot more like this:: Many thanks to Miles at PugRacing who does actually know what he's doing, talking about and is approachable, for supplying me with the right thing!!
