    My battery light has just started flickering every now and then, its not on all the time so I'm reluctant to think its the alternator and more of a connection issue. But I can only see one wire going to my alternator and I would have expected to see 2, am i missing something here? Also on start up what dash lights should come on? With the ignition on but the car not started the battery light, coolant level light and the next one down again dont light up. I believe this is one of the things the new MOT picks up on so would like to start fault finding once i know what should and shouldnt light up. Thanks
