    Sold my 205 1.6 GTI which I've owned since 2007. Absolutely gutted. Definitely the best car I've owned, and its outlasted and seen off a few replacements over the years that didn't eclipse it in the driving department. I want to say a big thanks to all the people on here for their advice, cheap parts, encouragement, banter and support. Owning a 205 GTI has been a great experience and I have sold mine onto a really good guy who I am sure will look after it. I know for absolutely certain that I will own another, just need to get my new house sorted and live a different life for a while. Again, thanks to the community, I have owned other classics, and it can be a cold and lonely place knocking on the door of a closed shop because you are the wrong age / sex / whatever and this community is different! I will be checking back. Thanks again. Ian
