Greetings, based on the similarity in many aspects of 205s and 309s (paint, trim, engine etc) I have opened up the http://205gti.info/vin application to also support 309 vehicles. Also I note that there seems to be some overlap in 205 and 309 ownership :-). There are still gaps in information to perform 100% decoding of all aspects, especially with the Phase 1 vehicles, but this will only improve with 'crowd sourced' vehicle VINs and their associated data. So if a colour, trim or even engine doesn't decode properly, then send me a PM or email to feedback@205gti.info and we can improve the solution. One nice thing is that unlike the Phase 1 205s, there is information available for older 309s. I may set up a separate VIN page for 309s when I get a moment, but at the moment the 205 VIN page is the entry point. I have also modified the application to provide some basic information on Phase 1 205s, but this is purely based on the VIN so of limited value but better than a terse 'Houston we have a problem' message.
