Hi All, This is my first post since joining, so I hope to get some advice. I had a lot of experience with 205 Gti's over the years and have built 2 x Mi16 and rebuilt a 1.6 Gti which was my first car. Not to mention owning several others inbetween. Saying that I'm no merchanic, just read how to guides and get my hands dirty. Anyway, the reason why writing this post is I'm looking for a new project and have come across a 1992 205 1.9 Gti Auto. Now I know a little about these but not a lot... it has been stripped by it previous owner so no seats, boot, doors and a few other bits. However, it's said to have done 56k miles and the shell looks solid. The question I have is do I keep it get it right and sell it or convert it to manual? The third option is avoid it like a bad smell??! It's worth mentioning it's £900. What else could I get for that money? Thanks for taking the time to read my post and I look forward to your replies
