Short Description My 205 is an Australian 205 SI 1.6 which now resides in Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. I'm from NZ but lived in Australia for a few years where I owned this car before moving to Canada and bringing the pug with me. The SI is similar spec to a XS but has the XU5M3Z which is in the euro 1.6 auto model. It's in pretty solid condition and was originally purchased for $500AUD (£270)

Suspension & Steering 306 shocks front and rear with 205 gti springs and rear anti roll bar
Brakes standard 247mm size but switch from solid to vented. Braided lines
Wheels & Tyres pretty much standard. I run the 13inch wheels with yoko a048s and they need 3mm spacers to not interfere with the vented brakes and pepperpots with a050s.

Interior & ICE newer head unit put in by previous owner
Comments & Plans I shipped the car over with a bunch of spare parts I plan on putting in the car bit by bit. I have a spare SI rear end with wider 306 arms, discs and b6 shocks. A spare GTI k frame to refurbish. some koni front shocks. A spare engine with shorter ratio gearbox. The si engine is an xu5m3z which is a monopoint injection 1.6. it has the big valve head. I plan on rebuilding this and doing some head work (skim, cams, triple angle seats etc) then adding itb's so it can rev freely to end up with a 205 similar to a rallye.
