- Comments & Plans When I purchased the car in 1993 it had covered 26000 miles and had one lady owner. I kept it standard until last year when the engine was fitted when more power was required for track day use. The car has now only covered 60000 miles and has only ever seen one winter since I have owned it. Paint work is all original apart from the front valance which was repainted due to stone chips. The car can be seen regularly at Donington lapping the club circuit in sub 1min28sec. The car ran at Santapod recently and covered the quarter mile in 14.25secs@98MPH.
