Phase 1 Rear Lights

i'm putting a set of phase 1 rear lights on the car (it had lexus style ones when i bought it )

 

on the passenger side light there is a spot for a single wire near the bottom of the rear of it

 

but on the loom there are 3 single wires, one blue, one earth and one pink

 

which is the correct one for the light and what are the other 2 for?

Earth wire goes to that single pin. Blue and pink ones might be for the boot light.
