marksorrento205 80 Posted December 28, 2008 (edited) The inside of the t -piece should have a concave face which as you said is like a countersunk. You will need a convex fitting to seat with the concave face of the t - piece. Its a male - female scenario. Male being convex, female being concave. The pics below should help.
