Clutch Fork?

was driving home tonight went round a corner to find a more or less half a tree on the road couldnt swerve because a car was on the other side so went over it, it ripped the clutch cable out and bent the fork that the cable connects to on the g-box casing.

 

so i was wanting to no if i could use the fork off of my 106 xsi until i get another one oh and its a 205 rallye i have

i cant see it being a problem, just have a good look at both of them to see if they look the same.

take the gearbox off, remove the arm, remove upper bush, slide fork up out of lower bearing, then back down at an angle.

 

 

the one off the 106 will be identical (same part number and all!)

 

 

I'd be more inclined to get a new one, part numbers as follows;

 

217512 FORK BEARING 0.65 GBP

 

217511 FORK BEARING 1.47 GBP

 

211752 FORK LEVER 63.43 GBP (that's the fork arm and pin)

nope they're just straight of servicebox, you'll more than likely get 10 or 15% off that if you can get trade.

agreed! the pin is often siezed solid, and at an impossible angle to knock out in situ!
