Cabana 0 Posted December 19, 2008 how have people got around this, i was thinking to chop the floor out and weld a flat one in. I've never done it myself but that seems to be the most common way of mounting them, especially if you're trying to get a lower seating position at the same time. philfingers 5 Posted December 20, 2008 have a look on my project page http://s188.photobucket.com/albums/z143/oi...%20Rally%20Car/ i used 20mm box section and 3mm plates to reinforce it. I cut out the crossmember using a spot weld drill, easy to do, on the drivers side only.
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted December 20, 2008 I've mounted mine directly to the standard seat mounting points in my track 205. http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?s...c=61427&hl= Graham.
