Rom 0 Posted December 9, 2008 Evening.. Ever since ive had my 205, its had some crap mirror that ive restuck twice. It vibrates like buggery, i think the ball / socket is worn. So at certain rpm you cant see anything in it. Anyway, ive just got a new screen, with what i assume to be a mounting clip for a standard mirror. Do 206 / 306 etc fit ? Or only 205. Were there any differances with the mirrors with regards to spec, ie dip switch thing etc. No idea if there still available, but want to know my optins before i try and find one. I did think about 'losing' a self dimming posh jobby from work. But we cant order the mounting clips seperatly, they only come on the glass Cheers Chris
pete1986 2 Posted December 9, 2008 (edited) Surely you can use any mirror from any car, if you just re-stick it to the windscreen (properly ). Early and late 205 mirrors are interchangable (sp?). One has a more bulky stem, but i cant remember which. Edited December 9, 2008 by pete1986
Rom 0 Posted December 9, 2008 Sorry...i meant what mirrors will fit in the standard mounting clip that comes pre attached to the glass. Seeing as the new screen has the clip, it seems pointless glueing some random mirror on..which no doubt will fall off like this one did
Jrod 7 Posted December 10, 2008 Should be able to get a 205 for next to nothing from the breakers?
