Matching Paint

I need a can or two of sorrento green mixed up. Does the paint code give all the necessary mixing details so I can go anywhere and get it mixed correctly or is additional information needed to get the metallic effect right?.

Should I go to Halfords or are they rubbish?

Anyone know what the colour is of the primer for sorrento green as that will effect the final result.

best to go to a paint supplier, most can match it up by colour swatch, some are more advanced and use a scanner to determine the shade.

not sure about the primer colour, I'm sure Paintguy could advise

I agree with the above. Try and find an automotive paint supplier on Yell.co.uk or the like. I found Halfords aerosols were not as easy to apply and a 300ml can was around £11.99 whereas I got a 400ml can for about £10.50 from a paint supplier and he came out to the car with two different swatches of Sorrento (M0RM) to compare to my car. You don't get a choice of shades at Halfrauds.

I have used a grey primer with the Sorrento, but it was on a small area, I am not sure what you are supposed to use.
