bill 0 Posted November 24, 2008 Is it a difficult job to fit the plastic cambelt cover on an mi16, i have one which i'd like on the car, just in case any stones fly up and the worst happens, how long a job is it, as i will probably take it to the garage to get it done along with a few other jobs, but i dont want a massive bill for it, as it cost in the region of 300 notes for a new cambelt fitted a while back, ( didn't have the cambelt cover then, so couldn't have got it fitted ) ps.anyone run there cars without them? and not worry, skip brown put it into my head, said if i do any track days and come off into the gravel then the engines going to be f***ed! cheers
iamjackiechan 0 Posted November 25, 2008 ive got the iron block mi and if i can remember properly you have to take the cam pullys off to remove the cam belt cover, so a garage may charge a stupid price
