Rebuilding 1.9 Rear Hub Bearings

hi all,

 

im in the process of rebuilding and regreaseing the ball bearings etc on my rear hubs, any hints and tips you guys can offer me?

 

im using premium multipurpose grease temp rating 25oC to + 130oC rating, made by FUCHS.

 

is that ok?

 

also do they need to be packed in grease? was thinking of using this grease for my beam shaft bearings?

anyhow, found it all out, juts have a quick question, the round bit of plastic that keeps the two bearing race centres together, has a bigger lipe than the other, does it matter which way round they go?, i have put the the larger lip towards the rear of bearing? also does anybody have a picture like from a haynes manual of how they go together, or where i could find one?
