How should this be set ?

So when the sprung cable reel thingy is in the rest position the TPS just 'clicks'.

 

I think im right in saying you should think off the 'click' point on the TPS as off (after that being potomenter based variying resistance to indicate throttle position)

So you want the TPS 'off' to be as close to the reel being at 'off' as you can.

 

Im sure theres a way of doing it with feeler guages (check haynes?) but I think you will find most people just do it so it clicks at rest.
