Sure are.

Not sure really, think previous posts are all based around guesses ect. This was on a set of calibrated corner weights I use often, I borrowed them so I could do some calcs on some bits and bobs, I can post up exact weights tomorrow when im up if you want.

Got to bear in mind how little the car actually has, plus it hasnt got a bonnet, or front + rear bumpers at the mo.

Dampers Ordered.

Shiny AST's will be ready for me towards the end of September. Looks unlikely that the car will get out for a shakedown or two this year, but we can still try. More to come later in the week.

Hi

I have just read the topic and it the car looks great.

Some pretty cool ideas that I may try and replicate if that is OK....

Keep up the good work.

Waiting on photo Nick pretty please

Another day (or two?) and another thing ticked off my list. Wrapped up the Castle Combe GT championship with a storming run home (not without troubles though), another Championship on my CV. Also started back of the grid for an open sports and gt race (did not take part in qualifying) and came home first (which we held from lap two!).

Picking up dampers tomorrow or tuesday fingers crossed so can get it back on some wheels by the end of the week, ordered one or two bits that should also be with me. Just means a bit more graft this week and it might look even more like a car!

Finished the main fitment of the scuttle today, just need to dril the T pull holes and wiper arm holes. Looks good. Can reproduce these pretty easy if anyone wants one, will have to get you a cost though.

Obviously, you could make it drop down a bit lower with this design, but I guess they didn't need it.

Not sure if you like it, but I reckon it's a pretty good solution or at least better than the sliders ;).

Awesome idea, only issue I've got is the windows need to be formed to the correct shape... mine are just flat shaped by fitting into the sliders and window aperture :(

However I do have a spare set, watch this space I might try it ;)

Tasty! :D

How much did those set you back?

Just over 3k.

They are tasty, and should perform just as good as they look! Just need to get some needle bearings in on the spring platforms and bolt em on!

I can finally see the corner weights in the distance!

£3k holy crap! :o

Very nice though, are they 3-way adjustable?

Indeed holy crap, but hey ho. Money is just money right.

3 way indeed, coarse adjustment to help us not so good at driving. No point in having 40 clicks if you cant feel the difference in 3 of them right.

Already started taking them apart to make some adjustments :) On the car this coming weekend or early next week.

Front dampers rebuilt with some thrust bearings, sprayed up with some dynax-uc (not sure I like it phil but if you say it works!) and now ready to fit.

Doubt it will be till next week now thanks to needing to finish the bumpsteer measurements and off to the Walter Hayes Trophy on wednesday.
