Dash Colour And Where To Buy It?

Recommended Posts

Dear all,

First of all I have to thanks GLPoomoible introducing the peugeot service box so that I can find the parts I want easily.

I am actually looking for a full dash (the one between A-pillars), but from the catalogue there are three different colours, I am wondering which one is the latest phase 2 black, 8203 G7 Medium Anthracit or 8203 R3 Hurricane Grey? The R3 version is a little bit more expensive than G7 version.

Also, is there any possibility a shop in UK is willing to sell it (still have stock) and send it to Hong Kong?

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Leung

I'm not sure which colour it is you need but there was a recent thread on the same subject...

edit: according to Henry in this thread Hurricane grey is phase two black.

Thanks for the acknowledgement  I wasn't exactly the pioneer of Servicebox (pretty late to the party in fact!), I just took the time to do a guide so more people would be aware of it and how to use it.

I can't specifically help with your questions, but just wondering if it has to be brand new? As you'd probably have more luck getting a 2nd hand one and getting the seller to ship it over (providing they are a reliable and trustworthy seller). IF Pug can still supply them you'd better have very deep pockets.

I know and I had 2 2nd hand dash already but the quality of them that I could find in Hong Kong were..... not good at all. We frequently park our cars under the sun not the shade and it really shorten the life of those plastic parts especially dash. The one I currently have have a lot of cracks and beyond repair. Also, sending dash oversea without proper packing will be another risk. A new dash for say £700 will last for at least 10-15 years, it means £6-£4 per month. Have been owning a 205GTi for more than 12 years, I am worrying after a few more years Peugeot don't do it anymore and it will only leave me a badly cracked dash.

UK dashes won't be affected by sun like yours. We live in perpetual gloom :D

I'm not sure you'd find a UK dealer willing to ship over seas, and how could you trust that they pack it any better then a private seller. There are some well known and trustworthy members on here who i'm sure would be up to the task of sorting you out.

I guess so because I have already ordered 2 sets of 205Mi16 hose kit from Stew205, one for me and one for my friend. :)

Hope they will arrive soon.

Btw, I have already contacted the HK Peugeot dealer and a parallel importer regarding the dash, hope they can offer me a good price :)

Thanks for your advice and I will see what I can do at the end.
