Stu 18 Posted November 16, 2008 Hi all, I recently re-furbed a set of lifters for the Mi, and upon refitting and reassembling it looks and sounds as though they are sticking in the head, while im winding it over by hand they sound like they're sticking and releasing with a crack and coming back into contact with the cam. Anyone else experienced this? Any ideas as to a solution? I was wondering if its possible to over-prime them when i reassembled them?

Stu 18 Posted November 18, 2008 Ive found the problem... Turns out Mi16 cams are not interchangeable; im pretty sure the exhaust cam had a bend in it, i bought my PeterT inlet outright so had a spare inlet. While i was doing the lifters i figured i'd swap the old inlet for the exhaust as id heard they were interchangeable.. Suffice to say... They are not..
