MrG 3 Posted November 16, 2008 Maybe a stupid question but I don't know the answer. Anyhow I changed the front struts on my car and accidentally pulled the driveshaft too far (don't ask but all sorted now) anyhow lost some oil and not sure if its engine or gearbox? (My old mini shared the same oil hence the question) if Gearbox where do I refill as I couldn't see during my cursory glance under the bonnet. jimistdt 1 Posted November 16, 2008 (edited) Easiest way to fill the gearbox is thru the left wheel arch, turn the steering lock right and you will see a nut about halfway up the 'box housing, fill up in there till it comes out.
