mattbenselin 0 Posted November 12, 2008 Hi everyone Ok a friend of mine who is into all things 2 wheeled has been urging me to try some red rim tape on my speedlines. At first I told him to sod off but it got me thinking and I am now in 2 minds... ...I edited this photo quickly to see what it may look like and was quietly surprised at how good it looks, or is it just me? Please post your comments and don't hold back! Cheers, Matt
DrSarty 98 1 Cars Posted November 12, 2008 SH1TE! Well you did ask. And then again I can't talk; every f*cker hates my TSWs, hence I'm keeping them on.

jengis 0 Posted November 12, 2008 having a retro car car is great, adding extra "retro-ness" is naff in my opinion. It will only draw negative comments from enthusiasts, and non enthusiasts just see an old car (and their opinion doesn't count!) So thats a no from me then
jimistdt 1 Posted November 12, 2008 As I am sure you are well aware they look guff. The only time they look right is on a green Kawasaki. Don't do it!

DrSarty 98 1 Cars Posted November 12, 2008 Add me to the haters list. Scanning through the replies, it's worth considering whether your mate who suggested this monstrous, unforgivable act, {a} has any taste whatsoever or {b} is winding you up?
