M@tt 77 Posted November 9, 2008 (edited) http://www.nicenewcar.co.uk/parts/part-2197.html just want to check that its the right sort of valve i need for my turbo conversion and that it's not a bleed valve type. also with the existing electronic valve do i just leave it plugged in? do i need to blank off the outlets or can it just be left as is? sonofsam 5 Posted November 9, 2008 Wouldn't bother personally, your car will drive much nicer with the stock boost controller > less wheelspin, less spikes and more modulated boost! If you really have too though, use a dawes type device > http://www.flat4online.co.uk/catalog/image...esdevicenew.jpg wich contains a ceramic ball and spring mechanism and is slightly better at controlling boost, but no where near as good as the ECU You will have to keep the stock boost controller plugged in otherwise error codes will be stored. Two port MBC as above has connections to the wastegate actuator pipe and the throttle body, all other ports you may have had for the three port stock boost solenoid will need blocking.
