My cage is now in so next on the list is lowering the seats. The chap that is doing it for me (Carl Chambers) has raised a question - how much space is there behind the exhaust tunnel? What he means is if we cut into the tunnel to make new lower mounting points, will there still be space for the middle section of the exhaust?

If not what have others done?

Thanks

Jonny

I have an OMP grp N exhaust on there with centre box. Got underneath, marked up leaving a bit of space for movement, then drilled a marker hole through from the bottom.

Without a centre box, you can cut more than you'd ever need away.

Just give him the car with exhaust in place and should be fine.

Thanks for the reply He has the car complete so that is okay, he is just worried that the new metal work sticking into the tunnel will leave no space the middle box. It sounds as though we might be okay.
