manrajf 0 Posted November 3, 2008 Hi everybody, i was driving my car home last night and while drivin on the motorway i was driving at around 70mph and then all of a sudden the needle went mad and started jumping from 0-140 and it kept doing this over and over until it just stopped at 0, and at the current time there is no movement whatsoever, its just stuck at 0mph... so i was just wondering if it was a snapped speedo cable? and if it is how hard is it to replace one? thanks any help would be appreciated cheers manraj Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Rom 0 Posted November 3, 2008 If its not the cable, its probably the drive unit inside the gearbox. Mine went a while ago. Not that bad to change, but you do need to remove the OS driveshaft. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
