timmsy19 3 Posted October 26, 2008 Hi all im just about to change over my inlet manifold. The engine has only done about 1k since going in. will i have to change the inlet gasket when i swap them over or not?
mattbenselin 0 Posted October 26, 2008 I should think it will probably be fine but if there is any corrosion, tears and damage best to get a new one. Also some people use gel sealant as well, if this is so you may find in order to get the manifold off you rip apart the gasket, again you will need a new one. I took mine off the other day and it had been on 2k miles and it was fine.
