Love it also, its really come on from the begining and is quite a car now. Those bumpy sticks look quite bumpy too, should be nice. Keep it up.

Thanks mate!

Good work and a good read

Cheers!

You need a non GTI front bumper w/ yellow strip and a better front indicator, would look 100% then.

These are all little things i need to sort out while its off the road!

Nice work ! I'm impressed !

Why don't you put all front suspenssion from Gti version ?

I'm planing to have similar engine like your. I will probably need some electric scheme to connect all cables all around the engine. Could you help me dealing with this problem ?

Thanks guys!

Well its time for a short update!

On January 29th at 16:52 the car Flew MOT! with only a few small niggles that the tester picked up! ( Thank you Wolze )

Been enjoying driving the car again, but as normal problems strike.

The day after having the car back, i managed to snap my Manifold.

P310109_100501.jpg

I've never been 100% happy with the manifold on the car so i bit the bullet and have decided to bin it.

Got straight online and ordered a Raceland 4-2-1 Manifold.

P040209_1731.jpg

But its not a straight fit so i'm taking the car to Xzorts in Pyle on Friday! Had a nice chat with the bloke and he seemed a top guy so im happy for the car to go there!

I've also dropped my AX GT gearbox off to the rebuilder to have my Diff replaced after i shattered it last year just before French Car Show!

The cars coming off the road for 2 weeks on the weekend due to insurance reason's! so she will be back bigger and better hopefully!

Peace out.

I really like this project. A nice change to the 1.9/2.0 16v conversions.

Im glad im not the only one having problems fitting 'poly bushed' parts. I've hammered the crap out of my 309 wishbones, and they are still giving me the finger :)

Does the Rallye handle well with its subframe assembly?

Would a GTi subframe be an improvement?

Thanks alot mate! it is nice to have something a bit different!

The bushes were a right pain, hense why i gave up and left them for my mate to attack lol!

It seems to handle pretty well, the bilsteins made a huge difference!

I'm sure upgrading to a GTi setup would be beneficial, i've got a track day on April 11th so going to see how i get on from there! i'm sure i'll upgrade at some point!

Hello All!

Another update for you!

Had my car back from a company called Xzorst in Pyle yesterday who have been modifying my raceland manifold for me!

Gotta be said i am very pleased with it so far, its looks spot on to me! just need to take the car for a test drive to check everything!

While it was down there i had them move the Lambda sensor hole ( as shown in the pictures!) and put a flexy section in to give it a bit of movement!

I havent got pictures of it off the car so i did the best i could of it on!

Martin's car doesn't get half of the credit it deserves. the photos look great, but in real life, looks that much better. great stuff Jackman, I think you owe Scott a few drinks by now ;')

Looks fantastic, but imo its a peugeot, not a citroen, i'd take the citroen badge of the rocker cover and put a pug badge on.
