Mi16 Using Oil And A Bit Smoky, Help!

Hi, my MI16 (1.9) is using a fair bit of oil. It only smokes a very small amount on start up and if you give it some stick, I followed it the other day with one of my mates driving it and it does smell a bit. Is this likely to be Stem seals? There are no other dodgy noises and it has excellent power etc.

 

As I completely non-mechanically minded is there anyone round Aylesbury area that fancies earning a few quid if it turns out to be the valve stem seals?

I guess the valve stem seals are the most likely problem? Can you let me know a rough price for that job?
