HERMAN 33 Posted October 15, 2008 Just overhalling my rear beam and i am going to overhall the rear calipers. The problem is that one of them has a seized /snapped of bleed nipple. I have spent several hours with verious ezy outs and blow torches but no joy in removing the old nippel. I have given up now and I am looking for another caliper to overhall. Are 1.9 gti rear calipers the same as any other car?? My local scrap yard has a great selection of cars but not 1.9gtis. I could just get an exchange caliper but I would still have to buy a seal kit for the other side. I have done a search Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Anthony 1,003 Posted October 15, 2008 Do a search and you'll find what you need, but certainly 106 GTi, 306 XSi/S16/GTi6, 309 GTi, Saxo VTS, ZX Volcane/16v and Xsara VTR/VTS models use the same rear calipers as 1.9 GTi's Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
