Brick A Bracket

Recommended Posts

So I was taking my starter motor out today and once I had the rad off I spotted this bracket just to the left of the starter (as you look in at it) No nuts or bolts were present but washer mark was still very clear, I certainly havn't removed it and in the 6000miles I have covered in the car I didn't hear any rattle which I imagine it would make!

In the block there are two holes into what I presume they screw into, one has a sheared bolt in it which I'm pretty sure is what I will be drilling out at the weekend..

It's just a support bracket for the other end of the starter.

It will be fine without it. 9 out of 10 205s I've worked on haven't had them fitted.
