Guest bigrob Posted October 13, 2008 hi guys got a bit of a problem started my 1.9 up after its rebuild and it seems to have too much oil pressure it ran for a bout 10 seconds before blowing the seal on the oil filter im hoping its just the wrong oil filter or a dodgy one but if you have any other ideas as to what could be causing it? its had new piston rings, new big end bearings new main bearings and all new seals and gaskets and an xu10 oil pump spring could it be because of the oil spring? or maybe an air lock? any help would be muchly appreciated thanks rob Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
