sss_205GTI 0 Posted October 11, 2008 Hi guys, im kinda stuck, as i need a new (2nd hand) wing for my gti, but prob im facing is, nobody wants to take one off once they relise they are glued on, and scrappys are heavy handed bastards and they just bend em out of shape! The whole car is mint (i.e no rust) other than this one wing, and its started to spread, as it does, to the bottom of the door and id really like to keep the rust free sills just that, rust free! I dont really trust the ebay ones as i can see them not fitting well! Is there some safe 205 haven that specialises in used body panels? Or equally if someone has an OSF cherry red (dont care about fade) wing, let me know Thanks Laura bloody typical, just got one the saturday boys to give it a quick wash, and i should have remembered hes going to be in charge of a commerically high powerd jet wash.... now it looks like my 205 has grazed its cheek as theres this huge scab of rust jumping out at me! platty 1 Posted October 16, 2008 (edited) Ive just bought a seconhand, but unfitted wing which fits like a square peg in a round hole. Has anyone actually fitted a pattern panel and had a good fit, and if so, where did you get it from? Im seriously considering giving Mr Peugeot a visit now. sss_205GTI 0 Posted October 17, 2008 Fair dos, i dont think i gave him a year - so prolly explain why he said no repeater hole, if the older ones didnt ave em. Just gotta sort out fitting & painting. Been quoted 3.1 hrs labour to paint 1.7 hrs labour to take old wing off (i presume) n put new one on £75 for paint & materials SO total of £208 cash Didnt really wanna spend that much Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
