hello, can somebody please tell me what gearbox this is be1 or be3 please and if its lift up reverse or below 5th

BE3 Type release arm, its got a crank sensor too.

BE1, Lift rerverse

 

Lift reverse could also be BE3. The hole for the lift mechanism is also there on a BE3 box, just not used :D

I have a Mi16 BE3 lift reverse box.

 

It's also on the box itself, clean it and search for it.

 

I gotta see a picture like the first one to tell for sure, but then from the WHOLE box.

It does have a BE3 release arm indeed.

BE1 lift reverse as Miles says, probably a Mi16 box as the BE1 Mi boxes did use the clutch arm as shown. The BE3 boxes have the different style of "bent rod" selector levers coming out whereas the BE1 have the shaft with the arm secured with a rollpin, as seen in the pictures.

I have to say that you cannot use lift reverse on a BE3 box as the selectors are different, the hole then becomes a breather instead on the side of the middle casing.

It's been mucked around with as 405's used the arm as stated above and the BX's used another arrangement without the cable I believe
