Dave_McC 0 Posted October 8, 2008 I'm in the process of fitting an Mi to my Gti, and whilst the BE3 gearbox was out decided to replace the clutch release arm bushes as they were knackered. Couldn't budge the lever off the top of the release arm - after drilling out the pin it just wouldn't budge - so I took the angle grinder to the release arm and have now removed it from the gearbox casing. I'll obviously need a new release arm, but does it come complete with the lever or am I going to have to get a friendly garage to press the remains of the release arm out of my existing lever?
