taylorspug 7 Posted October 8, 2008 They arent the same, the GTI6 one is alot smaller and more compact. Also it will have a ring connector for the solenoid where the MI one may have a spade. However the '6 starter will fit on the MI, as they use basically the same gearbox casing and flywheel. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
