gazzer 1 Posted October 7, 2008 changed clutch on 2ltr 16v with after market one from euro parts, but now its very noisey, so i put old pressure plate back on but still noisey when pulling hard, anyone know why? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

gazzer 1 Posted October 8, 2008 did you re-fill the box oil? refilled oil, and tried to pressure plates, old and new, at speed the noise goes off as it not under a lot of pressure. the grinding noise is mainly in first and second gear so might be input shaft as said Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
gazzer 1 Posted October 10, 2008 noise really bad now, sounds like the release bearing is ratting or grinding but the clutch works fine. just wish i knew whATS WRONG.
