Andy F 0 Posted October 5, 2008 hi everyone ive been messing around with cars with my mates for years and had a go at most tasks to do with cars but never gone the full hog and rebuilt an engine, so i was thinking of buying an mi lump and rebuildin it from scratch. I am prepared to study up as i know im not just going to be able to throw it together. is this wise?? or should i just pay the professionals?? i'd really like to have a crack for my own experience Thanks for anyones opinons
Veero 1 Posted October 5, 2008 I did my Mi rebuild with no prior experience, Haynes manual, help from the forum and a few members on here and it works fine. Just take care read up on things first and take your time, all will be fine Im sure. Good luck with it, it's a fantastic learning experience
iamjackiechan 0 Posted October 5, 2008 hi the amount of money you would pay someone to do it isnt worth it, i have gained so much knowledge and a better understanding of engines from doing my own, just take your time
matt-k 0 Posted October 5, 2008 Definatly more fun doing it yourself and ive learned a hell of alot about engines in the process. Get stuck in!
