Mi16 1905cc Water Pump Part Number Please....

At my last trackday last week I ended up needing to add 5 ltrs of water when the pump started leaking.

 

Just called the local GSF and although their website indicates a pump part number of N17008 the guys there think my alloy Mi engine will use the same pump as a 1.6 petrol 405 which is GSF part number N17006.

 

Don't want to start this job & then find I have the wrong pump !!

 

Does anyone know the correct GSF part number for my water pump or maybe the correct Peugeot part number I could maybe get them to cross reference against.

I would think its the following one -

 

 

N17008 WATER PUMP BX 16V £21.90

 

not this one

 

N17006 WATER PUMP BX 16/19 (EXC 16V)

N17006 WATER PUMP BX 19D >86

 

edit, a search under N17008 shows it as being for the 1.9 Mi and a 1.8 8 valver.

the same pump is indeed used on later 8 valver's, which is N17008.
