Recommended Posts

swordfish210

Hi, i'm looking to replace my rear side windows soon and the lightweight options are being sold in either polycarbonate or perspex. I'v not had any experience with either being fitted to a car so i was wondering what the difference is betweent hem. Thanks. Mark

Polycarbonate is more flexible, stronger and easier to cut.

Perspex will shatter easily, even sawing will chip the edges.
