MerlinGTI 3 Posted September 27, 2008 sorry for the pants pic, it was incredibly hard to capture. What im worried about is the small gap all around the disc inside. Saying this all 3 throttle bodys I have are the same, but then again they are all like 15 years old! Should there be a gap or an air tight seal? Cheers
Cameron 16 Posted September 27, 2008 (edited) I can't see it causing a problem, unless you're finding you have an unusually high idle speed. If you do want to sort it then (carefully) undo those screws in the centre and then open and close the throttle you should be able to get the disc to sit back in the centre properly. Remember you might need to adjust the throttle position switch and idle screw after too. Edited September 27, 2008 by Cameron

GLPoomobile 958 Posted September 28, 2008 If there was no gap, how would it idle? It'd have no airflow!
