Mi16 Diagnostic Manual

Does anyone have a PDF of the diagnostic manual for the 3 row Mi16 system?

I have one produced by Citroen for the 2 row Motronic 4.1 management which shows all the resitances and values for checking the pinouts on the ECU plug to make sure all the engine components are working as they should. Now I'm sure most are the same for the 3 row just by translating the pin numbers on the ECU plug, however it would make life a lot easier having the 3 row manual.

I am just clutching at straws trying to sort out why my Mi is idling so badly. I have tried 2 AFMs, 2 ICVs, 2 TBs, 2 TPSs and all make absolutely no change. I've messed around with the AFM mixture screw and now it's way over rich and I can't seem to find where it was before. :D I can't find any air leaks and I'm coming to the conclusion that either both AFM's are knackered or something electrical is untoward.

Cheers

Yeah just had a quick look but CAPS only refers to the 2 row for both Peugeot and Citroen.

I have a similar idling issue, on initial startup it sometimes goes up to 2-2.5k and the only way to bring the revs down is to restrict the rubber hose going to the ICV?

Ive had a similar issue with my 3 row, sometimes it'll fire up and idle at 1k. Stop and start again and it'll go up to 2-2.5k, thought it was a knackered throttle body.

What I did was

1. Run diagnostic, came up with TPS fault then cleared the fault from the ECU.

2. Took the throttle body off, removed the top throttle butterfly rotated it by 180 deg and adjusted the top butterfly stop and TPS according to Haynes manual. (Had to remove tamper proof caps and heat throttle body to adjust top throttle stop, bottom throttle stop seized so unable to adjust :D )

Dont get any movement in the bottom butterfly anymore and so far no issues with idling.

Yeah same here. Thanks for the pinouts diagram, yes I've jumped through all those hoops with the Haynes manual too, reckon either both TBs are worn the same or it's electrical. Ill have a go at translating which pins from the 2 row match which pins on the 3 row, most of it will be identical.

Unless I have a break through Ill be fitting the GTi6 inlet and TB I have.
