Spiky 37 Posted September 25, 2008 (edited) ok i need to know the thread sizes of the following xu9j oil temp oil pressure (the oil pressure guage, not low pressure) water temp (not the blue ecu, the one for the water gauge) xu10 oil temp oil pressure(drivers side of block) water temp (not the blue ecu one, but the air con(as not used on my conversion)) thanks in advance i did look on service box, but it says most of them are 16x150 (m16x1.5) but i didn't think this was right Edited September 25, 2008 by Spiky Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
welshpug 1,657 Posted September 25, 2008 (edited) XU10's ecu senders are green not blue, but all 3 coolant temp senders the same thread on the XU10 (green, brown and blue) both XU10 oil pressure holes are the same thread. from what I can gather the XU9 and XU10 oil temp could be M14 or 16. Yep, so if you want to use a Jaeger 205 oil temp sender in a GTi6 sump, see this thread for part numbers for the sender and washer, about 16 quid.
