paulfreeth 0 Posted September 22, 2008 Hi all, i recently brought some challange bilstiens for my 205 and when fitting them i couldnt use the origanal bump stop, as the inserts are much bigger on the new struts. I looked at cutting the hole out so they would fit but there wouldnt have been anything left! I ve fitted them without any for now and was just wondering what others had done, or weather i need worrying about them. I use the car for roadrallys so think that it might be wise to have some. The ride height is standard on 165lb gravel springs.
Miles 331 1 Cars Posted September 22, 2008 Dont worry as the bump stop's are in the damper as these are upside down, you may think they have a huge damper rod but when you see the rod it's about 15mm in Dia
